ABOUT YOU
You must have a driving licence with access to a vechile for this positon.
Essential - You will have a good general or technical education beyond GCSE e.g. 2 or more A- Levels/NVQ3 or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level.
You must have knowledge and experience of housing and tenancy law including succession, mutual exchange, assignments and ending tenancies. You will also be required to have experience of tenancy management, safeguarding and enforcement.
Having experience of preparing and serving legal documents, including but not limited to Acceptable Behaviour Agreements, Notice of Seeking Possession, Notice to Quit and producing witness statements is desirable but not essential.
This role will require you to have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desirable - Ideally you will be a Member of the CIH and hold a Housing or related qualification.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for a Housing Officer covering a patch in Wiltshire/ Swindon on a temporary basis for a maternity cover.
The Housing Officer is a key role within the Localities structure providing an essential service to our customers and to other teams within GreenSquareAccord
This post is customer facing with a direct responsibility for Tenancy Management and you will report to a Locality Manager within a Localities team.
As a Housing Officer, you will investigate and take action against cases of anti-social behaviour, tenancy fraud, risk and suspected property abandonment acting swiftly and in line with our policy and procedures.
This role will also include undertaking tenancy audit visits and general tenancy management responsibilities as well as safeguarding and supporting other teams when required.
You will independently manage ASB cases proactively working alongside our specialist Tenancy Enforcement Team
