JOB TITLE: Housing Services Manager
LOCATION: Spalding
SALARY: £47,181 - £51,356 per annum
Are you a dynamic and experienced housing professional looking to make a positive impact?
South Holland District Council is seeking a Housing Services Manager, a pivotal position within our housing management team. The position is offered on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2027, with the possibility of becoming permanent within the following six months.
Recently awarded a C2 grading by the Regulator of Social Housing, the Council has strong foundations in place, supported by a Housing transformation programme focussed on innovation and continuous improvement.
The Housing Services Manager will play a key role in shaping the direction of tenancy services across the district, ensuring residents receive high-quality, responsive, and sustainable services.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for an effective, quality and comprehensive tenancy management service at the very core of our housing service
  • Achieving high levels of tenant satisfaction and tenancy sustainment
  • To lead, motivate and manage a wide range of core functions across tenancy and estate management including neighbourhood estates, communal areas and shared spaces, anti-social behaviour and complex tenancy cases, safeguarding and vulnerable tenants together with rent income and debt recovery.
  • Contribute to the achievement of housing targets and objectives across all service standards and performance indicators
  • Play a key part in taking forward our services and delivering a community focused housing service that puts the tenants at heart of what we do.
  • Manage significant budgets and lead multi-disciplinary teams with a focus on service excellence and financial sustainability.
