We’re looking for a compassionate, proactive, and dedicated Housing Support Worker to join our team in Bradford, supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless and who often have additional support needs including but not limited to addiction and mental health.
Working across 3 central Bradford locations, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to regain control over their lives, maintain their tenancy with us in the short term, and secure and sustain their own permanent accommodation in the long term.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

You will:

• Provide tailored one-to-one and group support to residents.
• Carry out risk and needs assessments to develop individual support plans.
• Promote wellbeing, harm reduction, and recovery strategies.
• Build trusted, professional relationships and advocate on behalf of residents.
• Collaborate with housing teams, health services, and external agencies.
• Support tenancy management, conduct property inspections, and ensure safe, high-quality accommodation.
• Provide initial and ongoing support to residents, including budgeting and life skills.
• Maintain accurate case notes and records in line with GDPR and safeguarding policies.
