Position Overview We are seeking an experienced HP Indigo Digital Press Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining HP Indigo digital presses while ensuring consistent print quality, efficiency, and adherence to production standards. Schedule 2nd Shift: 1:30 p.m. – midnight Monday – Thursday Air-conditioned press room Key Responsibilities Operate HP Indigo digital press equipment (WS 6900 platform) Set up jobs and ensure proper color matching and print quality Perform routine maintenance and adjustments to maintain press performance Monitor production output and identify quality issues early Follow standard operating procedures and production schedules Conduct quality inspections throughout production runs Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications & Experience Experience operating HP Indigo or similar digital press equipment preferred Background in digital print production or conventional press operations Understanding of prepress fundamentals Basic computer skills and aptitude Knowledge of color theory and color matching HP Indigo certification preferred Core Competencies Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to visually distinguish color variations, shades, and brightness Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and adjust equipment Procedure-oriented and methodical work style Ability to work independently and in a team environment Analytical problem-solving skills Physical Requirements & Work Environment Regular standing and walking throughout the shift Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs Exposure to the production environment, including machinery, dust, and noise Ability to work overtime as business needs require Benefits Insurance benefits begin on the first of the month following hire $50,000 company-paid life insurance Long-Term Disability 401(k) with company match (eligible after 90 days), Medical plans through Blue Shield and Kaiser Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) with company contribution Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Supplemental benefits, including Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital coverage, Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer Imprimus Labels & Packaging is an equal opportunity employer.
