JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HPE Aruba Resident Engineer to join our team in a full-time on-site role, supporting a key customer account. As an extension of the customer’s internal IT team, you will serve as a subject matter expert, leveraging your deep knowledge of networking technologies—particularly within the Aruba product portfolio (AOS 8, AOS 10, Aruba Central, Airwave, ClearPass, etc.)—to ensure the customer’s infrastructure remains robust, secure, and up to date.
You will perform routine network assessments, assist in migrations and integrations, and resolve technical issues through close collaboration with the customer and HPE support teams. Your responsibilities will also include updating documentation, managing ongoing projects, and contributing to the network’s continuous improvement by identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.
Requirements

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Be physically present on-site for this role.
  • Act as an extended member of the team who will be an HPE expert to support customer on a daily basis in order to be successful.
  • Considered as a subject matter expert to ensure the customers infrastructure is up to date.
  • Perform routine checks on the network to ensure it is up to standards.
  • Support customer in migrations and integrations.
  • Be able to update and modify documentation and processes.
  • Work with customer support teams to resolve cases effectively and efficiently.
  • Identify potential issues and monitor/update the tasks.
  • Collaborates closely with key stakeholders on ongoing projects and work towards execution across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Educational Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study. MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience in related field.
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry. Knowledge and Skills:
  • Wireless experience: Site surveys, wireless design,
  • Knowledge and experience with HPE Aruba product portfolio: Switching, Routing, AOS8 & AOS10, Wireless AP and IAP, Controllers, SD-WAN, User Experience Insight, HPE Aruba Airwave, Aruba ClearPass and ClearPass extensions, Aruba Central, Aruba Meridian
  • Well-tuned background in pure networking (LAN-WAN-WLAN).
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry
  • Basic business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection.
  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, ownership, change management skills, team player and collaborates with product and support teams.
  • Prior design and operations experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced multi-vendor environment involving quick turnaround time.
  • Must have prior consulting experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
