Description
We are seeking a HQS Logistics Services Site Manager to support a large facility maintenance program management team. Communication and inspiration are key to guiding staff on site and engaging with multiple stakeholders. The HQS Logistics Services Site Manager will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and managing the work effort associated with the Mission Supply Chain functions. These include but not limited to, all elements of warehouse management, property management, transportation management, logistics management, vehicle management to include oversight of executive drivers, loading dock management, and copier maintenance. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner and in a high ops tempo environment. The candidate will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics, as well as have demonstrated experience in establishing a program and managing its progress. The candidate will ensure consistency across multiple construction efforts, recognize, and relay any potential conflicts, identify potential issues amongst designers or prime contractors, and integrate multiple designs into a unified product.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for notifying site GPOCs on significant logistics events.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies that align with enterprise goals and customer requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of supply chain programs including procurement, logistics, inventory management, production planning, and distribution.
  • Oversee program budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Drive performance improvement initiatives through data analysis, process optimization, and technology integration.
  • Monitor key supply chain KPIs such as cost, quality, service level, and delivery performance.
  • Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance, ensuring cost-effective and reliable sourcing.
  • Champion change management efforts related to supply chain transformation or system integrations.
  • Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to monitor program health and drive corrective actions when needed.
  • Conduct strategic evaluations to assess program impact and recommend enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal business units (finance, manufacturing, engineering, IT) to ensure synchronized execution.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Education may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain or operations.
  • 4+ years in leadership or program management roles.
  • Experience managing enterprise-wide supply chain programs with cross-functional impact.
  • APICS CSCP, PMP, Six Sigma, or related certifications preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management), or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management).
  • Experience managing supply chain operations in government, defense, or highly regulated environments.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-enterprise supply chain optimization or transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with international logistics, import/export compliance, and global sourcing strategies.
  • Experience with risk mitigation and continuity planning in supply chain operations.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business results through supply chain innovation and strategic planning.
