CoWorx Staffing is currently hiring for an exciting opportunity for a HR Admin/Payroll Specialist for a client located in North Haven, CT! This is temp-hire opportunity with the potential to be hired on permanent quickly based of performance and expectations!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with HRIS Systems, HRIS Implementations, HRIS Testing and Analysis Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Extensive knowledge of the payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and strong data management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
  • Maintaining payroll using Paycom system Review and approve all payroll exceptions and balances the payroll accounts by resolving discrepancies
  • Verify 401K employee deferrals each pay period
  • Ensure all payroll reports are accurate and prepared on a timely basis
  • Working with managers on timecard edits and approvals
  • Ensuring accuracy of W-2’s and ACA requirements
  • Assist HR Benefits Specialist with bill reconciliations for all medical, dental, life and HAS benefits
  • Compliance and reporting in a timely manner
  • Track and verify garnishments admin and calculations
  • Auditing of overall payroll functions
