Are you passionate about HR systems, compliance, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? As our HR Admin and Systems Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our HR Information System (HRIS) is accurate, efficient, and evolving to meet the needs of our growing organisation.
Working within a not-for-profit OSHC and Early Years Education provider, you’ll help create a positive and compliant workplace by managing employee records, supporting the People Services team, and driving process improvements.

Job Description
-

HRIS Management & Improvement – Maintain and enhance the HRIS, ensure data accuracy, generate reports, and implement system upgrades for efficiency

  • Compliance & Record Keeping – Ensure adherence to legislation, maintain secure employee records, conduct audits, and manage expiring compliance requirements
  • People Services Support – Provide HR administrative support, assist with offboarding, prepare employment documents, and coordinate training records
  • HR Administration – Manage leave tracking, respond to employee queries, maintain staff records, and assist with payroll and benefits administration
  • Continuous Improvement & General Support – Develop HR policies, contribute to projects, stay updated on HR trends, and drive process improvements

Qualifications
-

Qualifications & Experience – Cert IV or equivalent in HR/Business Admin, with HRIS and compliance knowledge (Employment Hero preferred)

  • HR Expertise – Strong HR admin experience, ideally in not-for-profit or education, with solid record-keeping and system management skills
  • Technical Skills – Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements
  • Key Competencies – Excellent organisation, communication, problem-solving, and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Personal Attributes – Integrity, adaptability, teamwork, and a genuine passion for employee well-being and organisational growth
