Al Jomaih Energy & Water (AEW) headquartered in Saudi Arabia, is a fast-growing investor, lead developer, and operator of utility and infrastructure projects in various geographical markets such as KSA, GCC, Asia & North Africa, with investments in 6 GW of Conventional and Solar power plants, and around 700,000 m3/day of water. At AEW, our mission is to tackle new technologies, solve complex problems, and leverage our expertise to unlock opportunities in the Power, Renewables & Water Sectors, while driving impact for our stakeholders across the value chain. This is a greenfield CCGT project to be constructed with a net power capacity of 2,400 MW, together with its ancillary equipment, associated infrastructure and facilities. The project comprises the Plant and associated Electrical Special Facilities (ESF). The Plant will be located inland at a site situated approximately 50 km north-east of the City of Abu Dhabi. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in the full lifecycle of the project, from design and engineering to construction and operation, all within a dynamic and innovative environment. This project promises stability and long-term impact. Location: Taweelah, Abu Dhabi, (Site is approx. 40 kms from Abu Dhabi city) Duration: Approx. 30 months Overview The HR, Admin & PRO role is a key position responsible for overseeing human resources, administrative functions, and Public Relations (PRO) activities. This role requires a well-rounded professional who can effectively manage HR processes, streamline administrative functions, and ensure compliance with local regulations. Your Job Functions (Duties & Responsibilities) Human Resources Management: Manage the onboarding process. Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures in accordance with local labour laws. Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Administer performance appraisal processes and contribute to employee career development. Administration: Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including office maintenance and facilities management. Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and logistics for employees. Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory to ensure smooth operations. Handle general correspondence and communication. Public Relations (PRO): Act as the company's liaison with government authorities and regulatory bodies. Manage visa processing, work permits, and other legal requirements for employees. Build and maintain positive relationships with government entities to facilitate smooth business operations. Responsible for licensing and permits required for the project. Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective employee relations. Address employee queries and concerns, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment. Mediate and resolve conflicts, promoting a harmonious workplace. Compliance: Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay updated on changes in labour laws and advise management on necessary adjustments. Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory authorities. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5 + years of experience in HR, Administration, and PRO roles in UAE. In-depth knowledge of local labour laws and regulations. Experience on projects within energy industry will be an advantage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office applications.
