Description HR Administrative Assistant Location: Monroe, LA (Corporate Office) Department: Human Resources Reports to: VP of People & Brand Strategy About the Role Joe Gear Companies is looking for a highly organized and dependable HR Administrative Assistant to support our Human Resources team and help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying organized, managing details & checklists, and supporting a fast-paced team. You’ll play a key role in onboarding, offboarding, maintaining records, coordinating employee appreciation programs, and handling office logistics that support our team. What You’ll Do HR Administrative Support Support the HR operations manager with onboarding paperwork and track completion of required documents Maintain employee files and organize HR records Track background checks and onboarding requirements Assist with offboarding documentation and company property tracking Scan, file, and organize HR documents Support compliance tracking (drug testing, onboarding tasks, etc.) Recruiting & Hiring Support Assist with job postings and interview scheduling Communicate with candidates regarding interview logistics Track candidate progress during the hiring process Help prepare onboarding materials for new hires Employee Experience & Culture Coordinate employee service awards and recognition programs Support employee engagement activities and company events Assist with appreciation initiatives and internal communications Social Media & Company Culture Support Post employee birthdays and work anniversaries on social media Assist with employee recognition posts and culture highlights Help gather photos and updates from locations Support basic marketing and employee engagement content Office & Administrative Support Coordinate lunches/supplies for meetings, and company events Order office supplies and assist with organization Manage mail, shipping, and document distribution Coordinate printing, business card orders, and marketing materials Run local errands Why This Role Matters This position helps keep our HR department running efficiently and allows our team to focus on supporting employees, maintaining compliance, and improving our company.
