SKILLS:

· Experience of working in an HR environment
· Strong administration skills with the ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office
· A high level of confidentiality with tact and diplomacy
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be resilient to change
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Confidentiality, and ability to build relationships easily, autonomous with excellent interpersonal skills
· CIPD qualification, would be an advantage

Responsibilities

· Be a point of contact for all HR-related queries
· Draft, review and issue HR-related documentation, such as Holiday Request Forms
· Ensure the HR database is up to date and accurate
· Assist in the recruitment process, uploading adverts, screening CV’s, produce documentation for new starters and induction
· Ensure pre-employment checks are undertaken and monitor the on boarding on new starters
· Liaise with Payroll, preparing and logging all payroll instructions and submit in time for the payrolls run i.e. starters, leavers and changes
· Process resignations
· Assist in formal meetings as required, such as Disciplinary and Grievances by taking notes and provide HR support
· Monitor sickness triggers and provide regular reports
· Timekeeping systems management
· Adhoc duties assigned by management
