Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Fred Smith Company is seeking an HR Administrator to support our Human Resources operations. This role is essential in maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth HR processes across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases (ADP Workforce Now)
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Prepare HR-related documents such as forms, letters, and reports
  • Track employee attendance, leave, and benefits
  • Assist in organizing training sessions, meetings, and company events
  • Support payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with finance
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local labor laws and internal HR policies
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the executive and finance teams
  • Some light accounting
  • Additional duties as needed
