Bilingual English-Spanish a plus SCOPE OF WORK Provides administrative support to the Human Resource Department by completing specialized tasks related to HR administration and compliance, records management, coordinating training efforts, and generating reports. Must have comprehensive knowledge of Human Resource policies and practices. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Uses Gaylor Performance Values as tools to fulfill all job responsibilities Works closely with Manager of Human Resource Services to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of Human Resource records and activities Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews Performs periodic audits of HR files to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately Accurately enters data into HRIS and other relevant HR systems Answers frequently asked questions from employees and management relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to take initiative and work independently Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software EDUCATION High school or equivalency required. Associate degree or above preferred. EXPERIENCE Minimum of two years’ experience in a Human Resource or administrative role. Strong interpersonal, computer, organization and communication skills required. Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, manage multiple tasks, and meet agreed upon deadlines. Must be able to work with and influence all levels within the organization.
