Description:
Over the last three years we have experienced significant growth within our organisation and as such we are now looking for an experienced HR professional to join our company.
The role can be made to suit either a full or part time position (on a pro-rata basis)
A CIPD or equivalent qualification will be necessary to fulfil the role.
The role will be office based within our main offices at Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, occassional remote working maybe permitted with line manager approval.
You will be working alongside accounts, admin and the directors.
Reporting to Commerical Director.
Overview of the Role
- Assist with the collation and production of Company Policies for staff
- Producing regular communications for distribution to site and office staff.
- Overseeing the induction process
- Ensure legal compliance with employment laws and changes
- Issue Contracts and other required documentation
- Monitoring Sickness Absence and Holidays
- Manage Grieveances, Disciplinaries and other issues requiring impartiality
- Deal with ACAS and other external organisations when issues arise
- Help improve and upskill training and skills throughout the organisation
- Oversee the company’s mental health strategy (mental health first aiders etc.)
- Utilising our BrightHR Platform
- Assisting in the management and administration of the Pension Scheme
- Producing Job Adverts and overseeing the hiring process (i.e job offer letters etc.)
