JOB OVERVIEW

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced HR environment and develop your skills.
Primarily this key role will provide vital support to the HR function, assisting with the day-to-day operation of the department. You will be involved in a range of HR activities including recruitment, onboarding and maintaining employee records. Alongside this you will provide administrative support for the daily office function.
Your strong organisational and communication skills will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations within HR and supporting the overall efficiency of the office.

Responsibilities

Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews and managing candidate applications
Assist with the onboarding of new employees, ensuring all the necessary paperwork is completed and uploaded to the HR management system
Apply for references and follow up where necessary
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records including training documentation
Generating HR reports, in particular supporting with the preparation of the payroll report
Assisting with pension enrolment
Providing administrative support to the HR team, including preparing documents and correspondence
Assisting with other HR related tasks and projects as required
Provide office administrative support including maintaining office supplies, managing office equipment and ensuring a tidy and organised workspace
Greeting visitors; preparing and providing refreshments
Assist with the organisation of company events, meetings and other functions
Be responsible for petty cash and manage credit card payments
Preparing purchase orders in accordance with procurement specifications
Support the Leadership Team meetings by updating the actions log and identifying new actions raised
Support the promotion of HIPPO’s values and culture
