What will the HR Assistant role involve?

  • Providing essential administrative support across various HR functions, including recruitment, absence management, and staff development, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • Managing and maintaining accurate HR records, including employee files, database entries, and compliance documentation, in accordance with GDPR and employment law
  • Assisting with the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a positive induction experience
  • Supporting the administration of employee benefits, attendance monitoring, and reporting on HR metrics to support strategic decision-making
  • Facilitating communication between HR and other departments to promote a cohesive and compliant work environment

Suitable Candidate for the HR Assistant vacancy:

  • Previous experience within an HR Administration, HR Assistant or office-based administrative role would be advantageous
  • Alternatively, applications are welcomed from individuals with strong administration, customer service or business support experience who are looking to develop a career in Human Resources
  • A qualification in HR, Business, Psychology or a related discipline would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and keen to learn
  • A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within HR
