In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.
The purpose of this role is to provide accurate and timely processing of HR administration, supporting both the HR Operations (c.75%) and HR Systems teams (c.25%), providing a first-class service levels to employees when assisting in resolving queries.
Key Responsibilities will include:

HR Operations:

  • Acting as the front of house for the HR Operations team, both in person and via email, responding to first line queries, including the management and triage of the HR mailbox, escalating to other members of the team where required.
  • Generation of standard employee letters, for example responding to reference requests.
  • Accurate and timely data processing across all HR systems, including Selia, Workelo, Realtime and Absence Management systems for employee changes which includes new starters, leavers, absence and internal changes and transfers.
  • Maintaining electronic HR records, which includes employee files and HR trackers, using MS office applications.
  • Assist where necessary with projects in association with HR improvements or development
  • Running ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Participate in any projects and deliver to key milestones as appropriate

HR Systems:

  • Running weekly and monthly HR systems reports, as required including headcount reports and short term visitor reporting.
  • Support with the management and triage of the payroll inbox
  • Supporting employees with pass cards set up and resets and RealTime password resets.

Due to the front of house nature of this role, it is a fully office-based role.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

GCSE C (or equivalent) or above in Maths and English
High levels of IT literacy. Ideally with knowledge of MS office applications with the confidence and ability to pick up specialist applications.
Office experience required, but no requirement for previous HR experience needed.
Exceptional levels of attention to detail
The ability to work in a fast paced and complex environment.
Good interpersonal skills
