The Quantock Education Trust (QET) is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Human Resources Administrator to join our HR team. This exciting role comes as a result of Trust growth and a reorganisation of the HR function, making it the perfect time to step in and help shape our future.
The post will be based at Sexey’s School, Bruton but the postholder will also be responsible for providing HR support to 4 primary schools in the region.
Salary: Grade 13 (SCP 6-11) Actual salary range £17,036 - £18,448 (based on the full time equivalent of £25,183 – £27,269)
Hours: 30 hours per week, permanent contract (38 working weeks)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, MIS)

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Experience in an administrative role (HR experience desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

In this role you will play a crucial part in supporting the Central HR services function by delivering professional, proactive, approachable and helpful HR services across the MAT. As the first point of contact for staff, you must be well organised and work efficiently under pressure. Your responsibilities will include responding to employee queries relating to employee relations, absence management, recruitment and selection, induction and probation, onboarding and payroll.
