We are a successful civil contracting business who has been operating in Australia for over 35 years. With the agility and personal connection of a Tier 2, yet the expertise of a Tier 1, and the enhanced resources of one of the largest, world-class construction companies, VINCI, our employees and clients get the best of three worlds.
We’re looking for an experienced and organised HR Administrator to support our National Human Resources team across a wide range of HR services. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth and accurate delivery of onboarding, employee movements, record keeping, reporting, and training administration.
You’ll work closely with team members to maintain HR systems and documentation, support new starters and departures, assist with performance review coordination, and contribute to key projects that improve the employee experience at Seymour Whyte.
As a progressive, leading civil engineering firm built on the strong foundations of our unique history, we engage, enable and empower our people to be better. With you, we are altogether stronger, in building the future we want.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the shared HR inbox and assisting with employee onboarding, contract generation, and data entry.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel records in our HR systems.
  • Supporting the administration of the employee life cycle including, probation reviews (and gift pack coordination), departures, and internal staff movements.
  • Administering new starter and departure surveys.
  • Generating reports and providing HR system insights to support decision-making.
  • Assisting with projects across communications, performance cycles, remuneration activities, and employee benefits.
  • Supporting the Training Manager with training bookings, compliance reporting, traineeships, and L&D communications.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying process automation opportunities.
