HR ADMINISTRATOR (SUMMER STUDENT) Location: South Hazelton, British Columbia Term: June 1 – August 30, 2026 Job Type: Full-Time Temporary Summer Position ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a professional and organized Summer Student HR Administrator to support our Human Resources team during the summer term. This role is ideal for a student interested in human resources, business administration, or organizational development who is looking to gain practical experience in a dynamic workplace. The successful candidate will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and day-to-day HR administrative tasks while learning about human resources operations and workplace practices. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Assist with recruitment activities, including posting jobs and scheduling interviews * Support onboarding and orientation processes for new employees * Help maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation * Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing confidential personnel information * Support employee training coordination and tracking * Respond to general HR inquiries and administrative requests * Assist with data entry and updating HR systems and spreadsheets * Support HR projects and workplace initiatives as assigned * Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS) Success in this role will be measured by: * Recruitment Support Efficiency: Timely posting of job opportunities and coordination of interview scheduling * Onboarding Accuracy: Completion and organization of new hire documentation with minimal errors * Record Management: Accurate and up-to-date maintenance of employee files and HR records * Administrative Accuracy: High level of accuracy in data entry, filing, and document management * Response Timeliness: Prompt and professional responses to HR inquiries and requests * Confidentiality & Compliance: Proper handling of confidential employee information and adherence to company policies * Team Collaboration: Effective communication and support provided to employees, supervisors, and the HR team * Task Completion: Ability to complete assigned tasks and projects within established timelines and deadlines * Professionalism & Reliability: Consistent attendance, dependability, and positive workplace conduct throughout the summer term WHAT YOU BRING * Currently enrolled in or recently completed studies in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field * Strong organizational and administrative skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism * Attention to detail and strong time-management skills * Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment WHAT WE OFFER * Hands-on experience in human resources and administration * Mentorship and professional development opportunities * Supportive and collaborative team environment * Exposure to recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations * Competitive summer student wage WHY JOIN US?
