The HR Administrator maintains associate records, ensures store compliance with company policies and labor laws, and provides customer service to HQ and stores, as well as support to the OHDC HR team as needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide first line customer support for Human Resources Administration as well as general UKG HR process assistance.
- Respond to requests for HR records by the legal team as well as external requests for background investigations.
- Respond to unemployment claims and coordinate attendance of appropriate managers for unemployment hearings.
- Review workflow requests daily in UKG and provide approval for changes; also deny changes that do not meet company compensation policy/practices.
- Perform onboarding tasks for HQ employees in UKG.
- Perform separation/off-boarding tasks for HQ employees.
- Assist in various HRIS reporting activities including separation reason corrections, wage theft reporting, work location mismatch audit, zero hours report, and terminated employee list for customer service.
- Assist with maintaining associate files by uploading documents to UKG HR profiles as requested by managers.
- Update mid-pay period, and retro log bi-weekly for payroll team.
- Update work from home reimbursement upload and provide to payroll team monthly.
- Provide follow-up and guidance to stores on incomplete onboarding steps including resolving I-9 issues.
- Support compensation team by sending salary ranges to DM every two months.
- Support benefit team by performing weekly deduction group maintenance and notifying newly eligible employees of benefit enrollment opportunity.
- Support Employee Services team by proving monthly year of service report.
- Assist with bi-annual UKG environment upgrades by performing testing and documenting results.
- Ensure records are maintained in accordance with SOX, government and company compliance.
- Performs other job duties as needed.
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
- Prior Human Resources experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel; database management experience required
- Proficient with HRIS systems; UKG a plus
- Able to effectively multi-task and prioritize.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Illustrate a dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, respond to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly with professional verbal and written communication.
- Strong communication skills including ability to work in a team environment, give and receive honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator.
- Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure.
- Is accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues.

Pay range: $19.55-$23.91
