LOUGHBOROUGH BASED WITH THE OPTION TO WORK FROM HOME UP TO 2 DAYS PER WEEK
The Youth Sport Trust are looking for a first-class administrator to support our busy HR team. For 30 years The Youth Sport Trust (YST) has worked to improve the lives the young people through the power of sport. We create, develop and deliver programmes and initiatives that improve health, attendance, academic achievement and raise whole-school standards, equipping all young people with skills for life.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced administrator to take a step in their HR career and to develop their skills, knowledge and experience as part of a small but supportive team. As HR Administrator you will assist with recruitment processes by setting up job roles on our system, preparing interview packs and sending or chasing up reference requests as well as producing offer letters and contracts of employment. You will also prepare induction documentation, organise training and issue E-learning, administer DBS checks and maintain HR systems. In addition you will also provide support for office administration and coordinate event safeguarding support requests.
You will have excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Highly organised, you must have an eye for detail and the ability to work effectively on your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will need to be flexible and agile in your approach, willing to learn systems and processes as well as get involved wherever the organisational need may be. Experience in a previous HR and/or payroll administration role would be valuable.
