We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented HR Adviser to join our team, covering the full spectrum of HR generalist responsibilities with a particular focus on recruitment. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in an HR generalist role, ideally with strong exposure to recruitment.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) or equivalent HR education/experience, including graduates.
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication skills – articulate, approachable and able to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proactive, ambitious and eager to develop within the HR profession.
  • A team player with a positive and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Provide generalist HR support across the full employee lifecycle, including employee relations, performance management, absence management, and learning & development.
  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects that drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and produce HR metrics and reports as required.
  • Stay up to date with employment legislation and ensure HR practices remain compliant.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive HR function, working closely with colleagues and wider business teams.
  • Customer centric and curious about ways to innovate and automate process
  • Passionate about the development of people and able to galvanise teams to succeed
