Our valued NW client, a private health and wellness clinic, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join their team and provide trusted guidance across all areas of HR.
With 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, the ideal candidate will bring expertise in employee relations, performance management, and policy development. A strong understanding of employment legislation, paired with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, will be essential to navigating sensitive matters with professionalism and care.

EDUCATION:

  • A degree in Human Resources Management (or related field) is required.
  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation a strong asset.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Criminal Record Check is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 7–10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Experience providing HR advisory support to employees and management
  • Strong background in employee relations, including handling grievances and sensitive matters
  • Experience in performance management and conducting investigations
  • Policy development, implementation, and enforcement experience
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Experience in change management and supporting organizational transitions
  • Familiarity with HR metrics, reporting, and analyzing HR processes
  • Experience in position management, including classifications and reclassifications
  • Collaborative experience working in a supportive, in-office team environment

The key job functions are:

  • HR Advisory: Offer HR support to employees and managers, fostering open communication.
  • Employee Concerns: Address daily employee issues promptly as the main point of contact.

  • Positive Relationships: Promote a positive work environment through strong employee relationships.
  • Performance Management: Support managers in addressing performance issues and investigations.
  • Policy Oversight: Develop and enforce HR policies for consistency and compliance.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to employment laws and promote best HR practices.
  • Change Management: Guide staff and management through organizational change.
  • Implementation Support: Collaborate on change management to ensure effective execution.
  • Risk & Gap Analysis: Identify HR process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting: Track HR metrics for informed decision-making.
  • Position Management: Support position classifications and reclassification processes.
