Job Title: HR Advisor Location: Coventry Hours: The basic contractual hours will be 37.5 hours per week.

JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY

The HR Function vision: Fraikin HR (UK) will provide a professional, value creating service to enable our Fraikin workforce to contribute at optimum levels toward the success of the business aligning it with company initiatives, values, strategies and the needs of all stakeholders.
A generalist role within the HR functional team providing the HR Service across the whole workforce lifecycle to the Business. The HR Advisor provides professional HR advice and operational support and resolution for HR Policies, workflows and processes to People Managers and All Colleagues that enables the business to deliver it’s People and Culture Agenda.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Take a lead role in coordinating recruitment activities.
  • Developing Fraikin’s brand as an employer.
  • Ensuring that we uphold identified standards for safer recruitment, considering Diversity and Inclusion practice and GDPR.
  • Working in partnership with different stakeholders to ensure our recruitment practices meet their needs.
  • Recruitment and Organisation design activity including review of Job Profiles, Use of Hire of Labour (Agency resources), Sourcing candidates, monitoring of recruitment processes.
  • Providing KPI data. Analysis of workforce MI data to support stakeholder engagement initiatives
  • Provide support in the delivery of people management training, coaching and upskilling managers throughout ER processes
  • Ownership and resolution of ER caseload assigned (HR & OD BP to support) i.e., TUPE, Work Performance and Capability, Long Term Absence, Discipline & Grievance, Business Change including redundancy. Assist colleagues and managers to develop their skills in terms of HR knowledge and people management. Engage with team members or other appropriate staff in note taking in meetings.
  • Actively maintain knowledge for researching, writing, consulting on and implementing new or updated HR policies/strategies.
  • Champion continuous improvement, review HR processes and procedures, suggesting improvements
  • Assist in the development and delivery of internal communications, including Monthly Core briefs, Quarterly Bulletins and Regular Engagement Updates
  • Develop knowledge and make use of HRIS (ADP) in HR workflows, working collaboratively with Payroll & benefits Manager.
  • Support HR Services provisions reviews such as Occupational Health.
  • Lead and support HR Projects and other initiatives as part of the HR Service provision to the organisation
  • Be a source of reference within the HR Team for Line Managers and other stakeholders and up to date employment law related matters.
