The Opportunity We’re looking for someone who is ready to take the next step in their HR career, a driven professional who has mastered the fundamentals and is now eager to broaden their scope, deepen their capability and take on more ownership. This role offers the chance to step up, influence leaders, work closely with senior stakeholders and grow into a more strategic HR position as the business continues to expand. Key Responsibilities Provide timely and practical HR advice to leaders and employees across corporate and operational teams. Support employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations and policy interpretation. Coordinate HR administration such as contracts, variations, position descriptions and personnel records. Support leaders in building capability through coaching, guidance and consistent application of HR processes. Contribute to HR projects including policy reviews, engagement initiatives, training and system improvements. Monitor compliance with industrial instruments, legislation and company policies. Manage visa application process for international hires Partner with the broader HR team to ensure smooth execution of people-related activities during periods of business growth. About You Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field (preferred but not essential). Experience in mining, transport, logistics or heavy industry will be highly regarded. Strong understanding of employee relations and confidence navigating HR processes. Hungry – you are driven, proactive and eager to take ownership, learn quickly and deliver high-quality outcomes. Humble – you work with respect, listen well, value others’ perspectives and approach challenges with a team-first mindset. Smart – you read situations well, build strong relationships, communicate effectively and use good judgement. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
