Are you a results-driven HR professional with experience navigating complex Employee Relations challenges? Restaurant Brands NZ Ltd (KFC, Carl’s Jr., Pizza Hut and Taco Bell) is looking for a talented HR Advisor to support our fast-paced business. The Role: As an HR Advisor, you will be a trusted member of our HR Team and partner with our Restaurant and Area Managers to provide HR support across a range of functions, with a particular focus on supporting HR initiatives. You’ll contribute and help resolve employee relations matters while ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice, driving a positive and high-performing culture. Key Responsibilities: Providing quality, effective, proactive HR coaching and advisory services to store managers and area management. Advise on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent handling. Responding to grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management processes. Coach and advise line managers in effective HR practices and policies. Contribute to and improve HR policies and procedures across the business. Collaborate with leadership to drive cultural transformation and improve employee engagement. Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies. Provide advice and support as required for restructures and change management. Deliver training on HR processes. What you will bring to the role to be successful: Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or Advisor, with some experience in Employee Relations within a large, fast-paced environment, preferably in a unionised QSR or retail setting. Good understanding and knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the business. Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Experience of working with unions preferred. Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven HR management. Ability to do some evening and weekend work to support the field, as well as being able to travel to NZ locations as required. Why Join Us?
