Rox Resources is a West Australian mining company located just north-east of Perth. Just a short flight will take you to our Youanmi Gold Mine where we are in the midst of transforming an old underground gold mine into a highly specialised and high-grade gold producer.

Reporting to the Manager - Human Resources, the HR Advisor role is crucial in providing HR support and advice to leaders and employees of Rox Resources.

About the Role

As our HR Advisor, your initial focus will be end-to-end recruitment, supporting the rapid growth of our workforce as we transition from exploration to mining operations. You will work closely with recruitment agencies and labour hire providers, coordinate workforce planning activities, and help ensure our operational staffing needs are met.

This role will involve regular travel to site, including overnight trips to our Younanmi Mine Site approximately once per fortnight.

Other key Responsibilities include:

• Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity.
• Prepare HR reports, workforce metrics, and people analytics.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, employment contracts, awards, enterprise agreements, and company policies.
• Provide advice and support to supervisors and managers on employee relations matters.
• Support the HR Manager with workplace investigations, including misconduct, grievances, behavioural concerns, and policy breaches.
• Contribute to HR initiatives that support employee engagement, culture, and business improvement.

About you

You are a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic operational environment and building strong relationships across all levels of the business.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 2 to 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role.
• A sound understanding of Australian employment law, Fair Work legislation, and industrial relations.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• A current Western Australian C Class Driver's Licence.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, self-motivated approach to work.
• The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a range of stakeholders.
