An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Adviser to join the St Vincent de Paul Society (or as it is often known – the SVP) based in Bradford. The ideal candidate will provide support and guidance to staff and managers on a range of HR processes and policies. You will have in depth UK employment law knowledge with experience in managing complex employee relations cases. Working Hours = You will be contracted to 37.5 hours per week working Monday - Friday
Location = The HR office is based at St Vincent’s Bradford, Rees Way, Bradford, BD3 0DZ. Hybrid working will also be considered.
Contract = Permanent
Salary = £32,000 per annum
Requirements = This role is subject to 2 satisfactory references

Responsibilities
  • Assist and support line managers in complex employee relations cases including absence, conduct and capability etc. by conducting interviews, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances
  • To support the HR Manager in reviewing HR and Payroll policies, procedures and processes to comply with legislation whilst working with SMT to ensure their effectiveness
  • To collate, produce and analyse HR management information by providing accurate reports both regularly and on an adhoc basis as required to analyse trends, monitor compliance and review HR performance
  • To support the HR team on a wide range of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, amendments, leavers etc. ensuring accuracy and efficiency within agreed SLAs
  • To respond to incoming telephone calls and manage emails to group and personal mailboxes in a timely and professional manner.
