JOB OVERVIEW

At the Belfield Group we have an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to make a real impact. In this role, you’ll gain broad exposure to a range of diverse HR challenges, from employee relations cases to contributing to our People Strategy action plans.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, commercially driven HR team that directly supports the success of one of the UK’s largest furniture manufacturers, with customers such as DFS, Soho Home, Sofology and Next.
This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, ideal for an ambitious HR professional looking to bring their expertise in employee relations and HR project delivery.
You’ll build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, gaining deep insight into HR operations across our business units. Working alongside an experienced and supportive HR team, you’ll gain exposure to casework, business improvement initiatives, and data-driven decision-making.
Location: North-West - providing support to 3 sites in The Belfield Group based in Lancashire and North Wales.
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 39 hours per week. You will have the autonomy to manage your diary based on business needs with regular travel to sites.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner and providing key HR support across all Belfield Group sites.
As a key member of our group HR structure, you will play an important role in delivering consistent, ethical and commercially driven HR advice across the group. This role is responsible for coaching supervisors and managers in employee relations cases and contributing to our People Strategy action plans, supporting business objectives and fostering a positive workplace culture.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

CIPD Level 5 or demonstrable equivalent experience is essential.

  • Able to evidence experience of working as a HR Advisor supporting managers with employee relations case work.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have a solid understanding of relevant policies, procedures, employment law and good practice.
  • Able to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and possess strong influencing skills.
  • Able to travel between locations across our North-West & Holywell sites.
  • Experience in a multi-site manufacturing role or fast paced operational environment is beneficial. Experience in unionised environments is also beneficial.
  • Results focused, agile and comfortable in supporting change management.

Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder management – you will be the first point of contact for Supervisors and Line Managers, coaching, guiding and supporting them through all aspects of people management including disciplinary, grievance and performance matters.
  • People Analytics – be able to use data to highlight key trends to support in the shaping of our ongoing people strategy.
  • Talent management – support the teams with attraction, development and retention activity.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on various projects contributing to HR initiatives that drive strategic impact on our business goals.
