OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Advisor to join a dynamic team. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of human resources practices, including experience in ER.

  • Experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with employees and line managers
  • Good understanding of employment law and its application to recruitment processes and policy
  • Experience of coaching and mentoring line managers and employees
  • Experience of mediating and facilitating meetings in an group and one to one setting

Responsibilities
  • Take the lead role with employment relations cases, advising managers on issues in line with policy and procedure
  • Offering advice, arranging and supporting disciplinary and grievance hearings within policy, producing own correspondence using standardised business formats
  • Assist with the compilation of documentation and recording of case details in line with HR processes
  • Support with the development and delivery of learning and development programmes where appropriate
  • Support HR Manager and the wider team in the delivery of HR elements of organisational and cultural change activities such as restructures including assisting with preparing necessary documentation, keeping records and tracking actions
  • Manage employee relations issues by providing guidance on conflict resolution and performance management.
