Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The HR Advisor will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, payroll and benefits administration, absence management, and more. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of HR practices and regulations.

AS HR ADVISOR YOUR WORK WILL FOCUS ON THESE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for employee relations, engagement and wellbeing activities and initiatives either within your business support function or across the UK
  • Coaching, supporting and advising managers when dealing with employee relations issues. To include performance management, attendance, conduct and other employee relations issues, to ensure the business needs are met within the legal framework
  • Responsible for supporting change management activities in the UK in conjunction with the Head of HR and Business HR
  • Managing formal investigations/hearings and employee consultations, ensuring all pre & post documentation meets legal requirements
  • Lead on the absence management process, including; policy and process development, up-skilling line managers, reporting, analytics and supporting with absence processes and wellbeing discussions
  • Delivery of global HR initiatives into the UK, such as delivering leadership training
  • Project work: carry out project work as and when, and provide support for project lead/activities – for example, TUPE
  • Support with the review and update of UK policies and processes
  • Support and action in the development of cultural change activities
  • Support the undertaking of compliance audits
  • Create and produce monthly Management Team reports where applicable
  • General HR Administrative duties

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

  • Proven experience in an HR role, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR and payroll systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
