Job Details Job Location: Corporate Headquarters - New York, NY 10016 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 Salary/year Role Overview The HR Analyst supports the Human Resources department's daily operations, ensuring efficient processes across various HR functions. This role primarily focuses on payroll, benefits administration, leave of absence management, and HR system support using Paycom. The HR Analyst is a key contact for employees and managers regarding HR inquiries, data management, and workflow optimization. Role Responsibilities Manage weekly, bi-weekly, and commission payrolls, including manual checks, final pay, wage garnishments, deferred overtime, and Worker's Comp reporting. Assist with annual budgeting and compensation-related reporting. Support all aspects of benefits, including new hire enrollment, life event changes, annual open enrollment, and addressing employee benefit questions. Monitor enrollment statuses and approve benefits in Paycom. Handle leave requests and process paperwork for FMLA, STD/LTD, and Worker's Compensation claims, coordinating with external claim handlers. Provide first-level support for Paycom issues (timecards, PTO), create and manage manager accounts, conduct data audits, and ensure optimal system utilization. Manage monthly invoicing for benefits. Prepare termination paperwork, assist with company communications, support performance management processes (training, compensation letters), track clothing allowances, and ensure compliance with HR regulations, including labor law posters and required surveys. Role Requirements 5+ years of experience Proven experience in an HR support role, with a strong understanding of payroll and benefits administration. Experience with weekly, bi-weekly, and commission payrolls; manual check processing Proficiency with HRIS systems, Paycom is preferred, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for data analysis, Word for mail merge). Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal), and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented, accurate, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently and collaboratively. Role Skills Knowledge of benefit eligibility, enrollment processes (including open enrollment and life events), and benefit approval workflows. Demonstrated ability to navigate and utilize HRIS platforms for data entry, reporting, user management, and system administration. Clear and concise communication for employee inquiries, policy explanations, and inter-departmental collaboration. Qualifications
