POSITION OVERVIEW:

Fireaway Pizza is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR and Compliance Advisor to support our HR and operations teams in ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, employee retention, and compliance across the business. This is a 9-month maternity cover role, with the potential to become permanent based on business needs and performance. The ideal candidate will balance both the human resources and legal aspects of the business, ensuring that all operations comply with relevant laws and guidelines.

RECRUITMENT & ONBOARDING:

  • Lead the initial stage of recruitment, including creating and posting job adverts, and screening and shortlisting candidates.
  • Support departments with recruitment, assisting in the creation of job descriptions and role specifications.
  • Ensure the smooth onboarding process for new hires by preparing new starter documentation.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and workplace compliance (GDPR, health and safety, etc.).
  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention strategies.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and tools for recruitment, training, and compliance management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams across the business.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree or qualification in Human Resources, Law or related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an HR or compliance role within a fast-paced environment is desirable.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
