The successful incumbent will be part of a team responsible for delivery of a range of HR and payroll policy, systems and processes, including leave and payroll to key clients in Victorian government schools and non-school locations. The Schools HR Services unit supports the Department of Education’s teaching services workforce in schools and non-schools location in the areas of Payroll, HR advisory and HR systems.
The incumbent will be supporting the service delivery of HR and payroll policy, systems and processes. The incumbent offers guidance on policy adherence and resolves complex payroll issues. Through cross-functional collaboration, they support the delivery of high-quality HR and payroll solutions and services.
To be successful in this role, you will be solution and client focused and can be relied on your problem-solving skills, influence and negotiating skills. Your capacity to establish and maintain productive relationships within the department and external organisation will also be vital, along with your critical thinking who embraces innovation and continuous improvement.
