Description

Hello. We are looking for an HR/Payroll Specialist at our first-tier partner company, a major South Korean corporation.
We are seeking someone with experience in payroll processing, benefits management, and compliance with federal and state labor regulations, as well as the ability to collaborate across departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of payroll processing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Practical experience with ADP Workforce.
  • Recruitment experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll tax regulations and labor laws.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluent in Korean and English (speaking and writing).
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain employee records related to payroll, compensation, and benefits in the HRIS system.
  • Manage benefits programs.
  • Verify appropriate tax withholdings and deductions, and prepare reports necessary for accounting and auditing purposes.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes from a payroll and benefits perspective.
  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR teams to ensure timely reporting and data accuracy.
  • Support year-end processes, including W-2 and ACA reporting.
