OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our clients with various administrative and basic HR tasks to ensure smooth operations within the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of human resources processes, and experience with HRIS systems such as HiBob, Bamboo HR and Breathe HR.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in human resources or administrative roles is preferred.
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in data entry with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in record keeping.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with staff at all levels.
  • Experience with Capsule or similar CRM systems would be advantageous.
  • Solution focused and capable of maintaining a cool head amid a crisis.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills within the HR field.

Responsibilities
  • Responding promptly to Client contact and provide verbal or written advice that complies with current employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Creating bespoke and tailored documentation to support all stages of the employee lifestyle as required.
  • Attending Client site(s) occasionally when required to provide face to face HR support.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all Client contact and advice given, in line with Company procedures.
  • Attending regular meetings and report on activity from Clients, discussing issues and concerns
  • Ensuring the Company only handles and uses personal data for the purpose it was obtained and that personal data is stored securely so that the Company remains GDPR compliant; reporting any data breach to the Directors immediately.
  • Ensuring all health and safety procedures are complied with at all times and reporting any health and safety concerns to a Director immediately.
  • Complying with Client’s health and safety procedures whilst working on site, wearing PPE if required and being familiar with emergency procedures such as evacuation and first aid.
  • Reporting any accident or near miss during working hours to the Directors as soon as possible.
