OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our small team. This role is pivotal in supporting our various clients’ HR functions and ensuring smooth operations within the team and for clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a keen understanding of human resources processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and the team . Familiarity with HR and Payroll software such as Breathe HR, HiBob, BambooHR, Moneysoft and BrightPay will be advantageous.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a human resources role is preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in HR software such as Breathe HR, HiBob and BambooHR is highly desirable.
  • Some experience of payroll and payroll software or willingness to learn.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with diverse audiences.
  • Competence in data entry tasks with a focus on accuracy.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure contracts of employment are drafted and issued by the first day of employment at latest, with new starter details added to relevant HRIS.
  • Create letters and other documents required for client employee meeting, including flexible working, disciplinary or grievance, attending meetings via Teams as notetaker when required.
  • Maintain client employee records in line with GDPR and ensure data accuracy through diligent data entry.
  • First point of contact for clients, escalating when necessary.
  • Assist with client project work.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining files.
  • Assist with client payroll processing using Moneysoft or BrightPay software.
