Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking to develop your career in Human Resources?

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistant to join our busy HR team, supporting employees and managers across our sites in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad HR experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working across all aspects of the employee lifecycle while providing a professional and customer-focused HR service.

As part of a collaborative HR team, you will play a key role in ensuring our HR, payroll and people processes run smoothly, supporting approximately 550 employees across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR and payroll administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes, transfers, family leave, benefits, pensions and leavers.
  • Coordinate and support the onboarding process, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for new employees.
  • Maintain accurate employee records across HR, Payroll and Time & Attendance systems.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc HR reports, including headcount, absence, turnover and recruitment metrics.
  • Support employee relations processes through preparation of documentation, arranging meetings and note-taking during investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearings.
  • Assist with absence management administration and the maintenance of Time & Attendance records.
  • Support the administration of HR processes for employees in both the UK and Republic of Ireland.
  • Provide administrative support relating to health and safety activities, training records and reporting.
  • Ensure all HR administration is completed accurately, confidentially and in accordance with company policies and data protection requirements.
  • Contribute to departmental objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

  • You will be highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. You will enjoy working with people, have excellent communication skills and take pride in delivering a high-quality service.
