Description
Purpose of the Role: The Employee Relations Assistant strengthen the employer-team member relationship through identifying and resolving workplace issues, regularly measuring team member satisfaction and morale, and contributing valuable support and insights to the company’s performance management system to foster a positive and productive work environment. Major Responsibilities: Maintain and update employee records in HR databases and systems. Ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal policies. Ensure all policies and procedures are effective, consistent, and aligned with the company's guidelines with the Labor Code upon implementation. Ensure team members comply with the company policies and standard procedures. Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures based on local laws and regulations. Prepares correspondence and briefing notes on incident reports and team member disciplinary and conducts issues in compliance with local labor laws. Enforce due process on disciplinary cases: from issuance of Notice to Explain (NTE) to execution of corresponding Disciplinary Actions (DA) Review documents/evidence, preparation of NTE, conduct admin hearing, preparation of notice of decision. Handle necessary tasks and represent the company in labor cases at the National Labor Relations Commission and/or Department of Labor and Employment. Prepare weekly and monthly disciplinary case reports. Prepare and submit employment-related reports to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). Provides advice and assistance to management on responses/strategies specific to team member relations issues and agreement interpretation. Resolve team member relations issues within 48 hours. Create a friendly, welcoming environment for team members when approaching P&C with questions, grievances, or other HR-related concerns. Improve key HR success metrics. Ensure compliance with all local HR laws and policies. Conduct confidential investigations into team member performance, harassment complaints, and potential termination actions. Manage the exit and offboarding process, and generate attrition reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Implementation of company-initiated activities. Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information Facilitate onboarding session on the Disciplinary Management Policy for the Line Managers. Cater for any requests and concerns of team members regarding their employment. Graduate of Human Resource Management, Psychology, Law or equivalent Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in handling cases in DOLE or NLRC Knowledge of Philippine Labor Law Ability to handle negotiations between team members and the organisation, especially in labor-related matters Proficient use of Google Tools, Excel, Word and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to self-manage and show initiative to drive results Flexibility - ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities and prioritize projects Excellent interpersonal skills 500K per incident HMO coverage + Dental & Optical benefits ​ 2-week paid Christmas vacation​ Electricity & Data subsidies​ 25K Educational Assistance ​ Training and equipment will be provided​ Fixed Schedule of Mon-Fri from 7 AM to 4 PM​
