JOB SUMMARY

Due to growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic office team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across the organisation. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their career in human resources while gaining valuable experience in administrative tasks and HR systems.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in human resources or administrative roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or Salesforce is an advantage.
  • Proficient in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective interaction with employees at all levels.
  • Experience with social media management for recruitment purposes is beneficial.
  • This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth within the human resources field while contributing to a supportive workplace environment.
    Weekly set working hours can be tailored to suit. There may be opportunity to increase hours for the right candidate. Wages will depend on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with administration to maintain accurate employee records.
  • Support recruitment processes, including managing applications.
  • Conduct data entry tasks to ensure all employee information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, including preparation of documentation and orientation schedules.
  • Manage social media platforms for recruitment purposes, promoting job openings and engaging with potential candidates.
  • Provide administrative support to the Management team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining files.
  • Collate weekly timesheets to assist the Payroll administrator, and oversee annual leave requests and allowances.
  • Assist in the coordination of employee training and development programmes.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures, demonstrating strong communication skills.
