SOLIHULL OR LEICESTER

We are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused HR Assistant to support our HR team and help us deliver outstanding service across the business.
As an HR Assistant, you’ll be part of our busy HR Hub team, providing essential administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle. From issuing contracts and processing employment changes to supporting cyclical HR activities and projects, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our people processes run smoothly and efficiently during this period of change. The role can be based in either our Solihull or Leicester office.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering a professional and responsive HR administration service to employees and managers.
  • Preparing contracts, letters, and employee records accurately and on time.
  • Managing pre-employment checks including references, right to work, and DBS.
  • Processing employment changes such as promotions, benefits, pensions, and leavers.
  • Supporting HR cyclical activities including salary reviews, bonuses, engagement initiatives, and reporting.
  • Maintaining and updating HR data within Oracle HR, including data cleanse activities.
  • Responding to queries and signposting colleagues to the right contacts when needed.
  • Contributing ideas for improving processes and helping to implement them.
  • Ensuring full compliance with GDPR and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Liaising closely with Payroll, Fleet, local HR teams and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless service.
