Role Overview
The HR Assistant / HR Administrator / HR Support Officer provides administrative and operational support across a wide range of human resources functions. This role assists with employee records, recruitment coordination, onboarding activities, HR documentation, and day-to-day administrative processes. Working closely with HR professionals and business teams, the position helps ensure efficient HR operations while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
• Support daily human resources operations by maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.
• Assist with recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and preparing hiring documentation.
• Facilitate onboarding processes by organizing new hire documentation and orientation materials.
• Maintain and update employee information within HR information systems and personnel files.
• Prepare employment letters, HR reports, and routine administrative documentation.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR procedures, policies, and administrative processes.
• Coordinate training sessions, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
• Assist with leave administration, attendance tracking, and HR record management.
• Support compliance by ensuring HR documentation is complete, organized, and maintained according to internal procedures.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance administrative efficiency and employee support services.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience in human resources, administration, recruitment coordination, or office support is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in office productivity software and familiarity with HR information systems is an advantage.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
