Montgomery County Emergency Service (MCES) is Hiring!
Every day at MCES we work to fulfill our mission to improve the lives of individuals facing crises and emergencies brought on by serious mental illness. We are deeply committed to offering increasingly effective crisis intervention services and ever-improving psychiatric care. This has been our goal since 1974. We are located on the grounds of Norristown State Hospital in Norristown, PA and accessible by public transportation. We are looking for an HR Administrative Assistant to join our team!
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (75 hrs. biweekly)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably in healthcare or a long-term care setting. Associates Degree preferred. Will consider any combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill, and ability required. Knowledge of HR laws and regulations is a plus. This position requires a high level of professionalism, ability to handle sensitive information confidentially, strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a work environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.

· Assist with the recruitment process, including prepare job postings, send resumes to Managers, schedule interviews, conduct background checks and extend job offers to new employees.
· Support employee onboarding and orientation, set new employees up to attend orientation, ensure all necessary documentation is completed, review policies, complete academic verifications, and create the personnel file.
· Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
· Help address employee inquiries and provide general HR support as needed.
· Provide administrative support to the HR department including answering phones, filing, making copies, and data entry into the HRIS and LMS systems and other duties as assigned.
· Assist with the monitoring and data entry of the MCES performance management program including tracking ninety (90) day and annual performance evaluations.
· Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments and updates.
· Prepare reports and assist with various HR projects.
