About the Role The HR Assistant will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of employee benefits, specifically focusing on HMO, Group Life Insurance (GLI), and Medicine Availment programs. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless transition of tasks previously managed by an external broker and providing administrative support during our HRIS migration from UKG to Sprout HR. What You'll Do Benefits & Insurance Administration (HMO & GLI) Manage the enrollment, amendment, and deletion of members in the HMO and GLI provider portals. Coordinate the distribution of physical and digital health cards to employees. Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding coverage, claims reimbursement, and hospital coordinates. Audit monthly billing statements from providers against the active headcount to ensure 100% billing accuracy. Facilitate the Medicine Availment process, including document verification and coordination with partner pharmacies or reimbursement channels. HRIS Maintenance & Data Integrity Assist HR Coordinators in daily data entry and updates in UKG and SproutHR to ensure employee records are current. Support the transition to Sprout HR by assisting in the cleanup and migration of timekeeping and leave management data. Assist HR Coordinators to perform regular audits between the two systems to ensure synchronized data (e.g., ensuring a new hire in UKG is correctly reflected in Sprout HR). General Administrative Support Prepare and issue various HR-related certificates (e.g., Certificates of Employment with Compensation). Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for employee benefit records. Assist HR Coordinators in preparing reports related to overtime, leave utilization, and benefit costs. What We Expect From You Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience in HR administration, preferably with a focus on benefits or insurance coordination. Can be a fresh graduate with previous background on administrative tasks and highly trainable. Technical Skills: * Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Platform Prior experience with an HRIS (specifically UKG or Sprout HR) is a significant advantage. Competencies: * High attention to detail (crucial for insurance enrollment and billing). Strong communication skills for explaining complex benefits to employees.
