Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring smooth operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of HR.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with HR sourcing and recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
- Assist with employee evaluation process, including collecting feedback and preparing performance reports
- Support employee relations initiatives by addressing employee inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) administration, including data entry and generating reports
- Collaborate with payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee information
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations
- Conduct data collection and analysis to support HR initiatives and decision-making processes
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Previous experience in an HR role or internship is a plus
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Taleo, Ceridian, or SAP
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of payroll systems such as Paychex is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle conflict management situations
