Job Details Position Title HR Assistant Reports to Head of HR Division Human Resources Grade Department Human Resources Job Purpose The HR Assistant is responsible for providing support in the various HR related tasks, which include and are not limited to filing, from coordinating meetings to maintaining employee database. Functional Accountabilities Area of Contribution Key Activities Financial Maintaining HR Expenses of petty cash Process 1. Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies). Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties. Manage and monitor employee probation processes, ensuring timely follow-up with line managers and confirming employees before the end of their probation period. Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc) Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes. Handle and respond to employee requests, ensuring timely resolution, proper documentation, and coordination with relevant departments when needed. Assist in recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates and hiring managers, preparing documents, and supporting onboarding processes. Assist in HR tasks related to HR operations, Rewards and Recognition and Employee Engagement activities. Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the HR Head. Provide support for visa processing and related requirements, including documentation, coordination with PRO/authorities, and tracking application status to ensure timely completion. EXPERIENCE Required Experience Minimum 1 years of experience in HR Department. Other Requirements- Safety accountability and responsibilities All staff has the following safety responsibilities and is accountable to their supervisor(s) and Head of Department: To comply with the relevant safety requirements and procedures outlined in the Aerodrome Operations Manual and Safety Management System and any other instructions or notices issued by Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. To comply with the safety requirements detailed within their training. To advise their Head of Department and the Airport Duty Officer team of any safety occurrence or system failure and to identify and report any situation of potential risk or concern affecting safety via one of the following means. Report directly to the Safety Department or an immediate supervisor. Submitting an Accident/ Incident Report. Support safety audits as and investigations as they occur. Competencies Level of Proficiency Behavioural Competencies Ability to manage own workload and prioritise activities accordingly. High Maintains integrity and ethical standards at all times. High Ability to work in a fast paced and time pressured environment and is highly organised.
