OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the department. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with HR systems such as Cascade / IRIS is desirable.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3 years experience in a Human Resources setting is essential
  • Minimum Level 3 CIPD
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Proven track record of dealing with employee relationship matters in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to build and maintain relationships on all levels and be able to influence at all levels
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • HR Compliance documentation including right to work checks
  • Cascade HR Management system tasks, including generating HR reports and annual leave management
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and people strategies
  • Undertake Talent Management and Workforce Planning projects along with the HR & Training Manager
  • Support Employee Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion and Wellbeing initiatives
  • Involvement in Learning & Development projects
  • Identify where HR matters / queries need to be escalated and refer them to the HR & Training Manager to ensure relevant action is taken
  • Assist in formal meetings, taking notes and preparing all relevant documentation and letters
  • Assist in all aspects of recruitment
  • Administration of company benefits programs
