Description:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Trustworthy in managing sensitive situations and information; discrete, professional an possess excellent judgement.
- Entry level knowledge of Human Resources best practices, functional areas, and state and federal compliance as related to the field.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and confidentially process and maintain data with accuracy.
- Basic computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.
- Effective communication skills to effectively communicate information to others as well as to present information in front of a group.
- Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, etc.
- Strong customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up. Ability to convey information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
- Active listening skills: attentiveness when listening to others to understand, ask appropriate questions, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas.
- Strong decision analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to the company’s goals.
- Ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, detect unobvious facts and issues, and exercise resourcefulness in resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate Degree in a related field, or enrolled in a 4 year degree program
- 1+ year of related experience
- Experience using an HRIS system, Workday and Deltek experience preferred.
- Proven work experience in an area that required high levels of accuracy or auditing.
- US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides administrative support to the HR department.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as employee recognition events, company picnic, and holiday parties.
- Assist with the recruiting, onboarding process, and orientation.
- Assist with job fairs and company sponsored events.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- May answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies and hiring processes.
- Performs periodic audits of HR records to ensure that all required documents are collected and stored appropriately.
- Adhering to all HIPPA and Internet security regulations.
- Communicating the receipt of time sensitive documents.
- Monitoring the progress of onboarding and acting as the main point of contact for all issues related to document management.
- Continuously provide professional assistance for employees.
- Coordinate orientation with remote and local new hires and managers to ensure all participants have relevant information for a successful orientation.
- Data Entry / Management.
- Other duties as assigned.
