POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR Assistant to support our growing team. The HR Assistant will play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative HR functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in HR or administration (co-op/internship experience welcome).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Ontario labour laws and employment standards is an asset.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

• Assist with recruitment, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Support employee onboarding and training.
• Maintain HR files, employee records, and HRIS data.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Handle day-to-day HR inquiries and provide support to staff.
• Coordinate payroll and benefits administration support.
• Assist with health & safety and compliance initiatives.
